Our annual MABA fall potluck picnic and honey show is THIS SUNDAY, September 27, 2026 at Westside Provisions District (1170 Howell Mill Road, Atlanta, Georgia 30318 — corner of Howell Mill Road and 14th Street).  It’s time to GET THOSE HONEY SHOW ENTRIES READY!!

Our gathering will have everything we love about being together:

~ A honey show where you can win cash prizes and bragging rights! (Click here for the honey show rules.) Remember to READ THE RULES, READ THE RULE, READ THE RULES!
~ If you and your bees produced honey this year, enter our Black Jar Contest (no actual black jar is necessary);
~ A BYOB social hour to meet and greet your fellow MABA members;
~ Good food – it’s always delicious when we bring food for each other – BRING A SIDE DISH OR DESSERT TO SHARE! (MABA will provide fried chicken and tea/lemonade, beer/wine is BYOB);
~ Our annual auction
~ The announcement of MABA’s 2026 Beekeeper of the Year – read all about this year’s nominees at:

Schedule of events:
~ Honey show entries will be accepted at 4PM (please arrive at 4 pm to submit your entries to the judging staff)
~ Socializing and BYOB cocktail time between 5 PM and 6 PM
~ We’ll open the food lines at 6 PM for dinner
~ Auction, announcement of Beekeeper of the Year and honey and wax winners from honey show follow at about 7 PM
