An Introduction to Honey Bees and BeekeepingCome to the MABA One Day Beekeeping Course to learn the fundamentals of beekeeping from our panel of experts. We welcome anyone who is interested in learning about honey bees, even if a hive is not in your immediate future.Setting up new hives must be done in the spring, generally from March to May. This course is offered in January to give potential beekeepers time to order bees and equipment and prepare a site for hives. The Morningside Community Garden is located on Hillpine Dr. NE, 30306. Going south on Piedmont, turn left on Monroe. Hillpine is about the third left off of Monroe (there are some turns into parking lots). Turn left onto Hillpine and drive halfway up the hill. The community garden is on your left by the Georgia Power lines. Park on the street in the direction of traffic (you get a ticket in this neighborhood if you park facing the wrong direction)…
