MABA Potluck/Honey Show/Beekeeper of the Year (Galloway School)

Mark your calendars and save the date: MABA’s annual potluck dinner and member honey show will be held on Sunday, September 15, 4-8 p.m., at the Galloway School, 215 Chastain Park Ave NW, Atlanta, GA 30342. Schedule of events:

Honey Show Entry Check-In: 4 – 5 p.m. (no late entries accepted!)
• B.Y.O.B. Cocktail Hour: 5 – 6 p.m.
• Food Lines Open for Dinner: 6 p.m.
• Live Auction, Beekeeper of The Year, & Honey Show Winners: 7 p.m.

NOTE: Construction at the school will reduce parking available. Please consider ride sharing and carpooling.

NOMINATIONS NOW BEING ACCEPETED: MABA BEEKEEPER OF THE YEAR

The MABA Beekeeper of the Year is someone who has not only demonstrated and promoted good beekeeping, but who also has served the Metro Atlanta Beekeepers Association as an outstanding volunteer. Any member is eligible except the club’s executive officers who will evaluate the submissions. Traditionally, past recipients are not awarded the honor a second time.
