March 8 Curtis Gentry is offering a drop-in class from 1-3 pm on beekeeping equipment. This includes a discussion of assembly and uses of hive equipment, foundation selection, and frame assembly. There will be an ongoing demonstration in the Garden House at The Oakhurst Community Garden, 435 Oakview Road, Decatur. The charge is $10 for members and $15 for non-members. Meeting of members of Metro Atlanta Beekeepers Association who are interested in becoming honey bee educators or who would like to update the skills they currently use as experienced honey be educators.
